Of course, the hottest month of the year is Disability Pride Month--of course it is. But that does kind of solve the mystery of "Why do I only hear about this online, like, every two years or something?" Even though my boss used to ask me complicated access questions all the time because he thought I was a. majorly down and 2. Really Good At That Stuff, which, neither is true. Hey, any ING day is a good day.

It took me way too long to recognize the ING this morning.

Spelling was okay for me, but the Connections was stupid and incomprehensible. I'm still unclear on whether it's my brain or the puzzles that make some days easy and others impossible.

Hah I got connections but only got wordle on try 6 after trying two things I knew couldn’t be the answer because I could t figure out any words that fit!

I stopped doing Connections a while ago. It did not spark joy. I love Letter Boxed, though, and nobody ever talks about it.

Ha! I got the Wordle on 6 because apparently you can spell more than one word with those letters, and I only guessed the correct word on try #6.

I was on top of Connections today although I only got purple because it was the last four left. Wordle was tough, I had an all yellow 2nd guess and took quite a while working out how to rearrange that into the actual answer

The power went out here -- as I came home from therapy at 2-ish I saw the power company's truck at the top of the street, where there is a VERY damaged electric pole. And I thought "Yikes, I'm glad they're fixing that!" But I didn't realize it would mean our power would have to go out. The washing machine was right in the middle of a load of towels, dang it.

If you look at the outage map (I posted a picture on FB), out house is literally right on the border of the area with the outage. We were so close to not losing power! [crying emoji] At least it's MUCH less humid here today, so it shouldn't get too bad in the house. And my laptop has 100% battery, so I have no excuse not to work.

Was your all-yellow guess the word "runic," by any chance? I guessed that before I guessed the real word. In retrospect it's a weird choice, but it's what popped into my undercaffeinated brain.
