Zoe: Preacher, don't the Bible have some pretty specific things to say about killing? Book: Quite specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm kind of disappointed at how not-evil my hand is. Maybe when I get surgery for the left one, it'll become evil.

I think chaotic neutral is perhaps the best you can hope for, as your hand carelessly knocks over your glass of water.

Always Anti-fascist!

If that is an evil hand, I've had one off and on for much of my life. which might explain more about how things turned out if it was, like, "Stop hitting yourself!1", I guess.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

It's been ...a week here. Gary tested positive for COVID on Tuesday. I tested negative on both Tuesday and Wednesday. I may need to test myself again today, as I am a bit congested with occasional coughing.

My colonoscopy/endoscopy went fine, though the prep was a bit rougher on me that expected. Had trouble sleeping, and when I woke up at 5:30 to do the second part of the prep I got all turned around in the house. As I needed to use the bathroom quite badly at that point, the results were not pretty. They found no polyps, so I'm clear for 10 years.

I'm sorry to hear about the covid, Sheryl. I gather there's a new strain going around, and last year's booster doesn't help that much. It helps! But not completely. And now I'm worried about next year, when we may not be able to get boosters at all because RFKJ.

I need to keep uninfected, though, since I'm going to the UK in 3 weeks! Whoot! Gonna do a walking tour in Wales with a friend, and then spend 4 days in London.

Today I took the dog for a romp in the woods, gave her some training on my sister's dog treadmill, and did a bunch yard work. Now I'ma shower and maybe nap, and then I am going to a minor league baseball game! A classic summer Saturday.

Well, I just tested myself and guess what? Positive. Sigh...

That sounds like a great trip Suela!!

I woke up with an awful headache and had to cancel gym plan with a friend and go back to bed and ended up taking two doses of my migraine meds. My neck and shoulders still feel a bit tweaked but I mostly feel better now. The good I guess is that I didn’t have any real plans today other than the gym so could’ve been worse. But I didn’t have a migraine for MONTHS earlier this year and now I’ve had a few. Sigh.

The worst part of this is that I went into a coughing fit during my procedure yesterday, so I exposed the staff. Unfortunately, they're not open until Monday morning. Sigh...

Punishingly Intricate

We just booked a trip to the UK for October! Going to Manchester so Bob can do some genealogy research and then to Wales. Very interested to hear about your walking tour, Suela!!
