Timelies all!

We just got back from Balticon. The con itself was good, but the overnight visit with Mr. S wasn't. He ended up having a meltdown Saturday evening that ended with him going to the ER. I don't know what was the trigger. Could be sensory overload, could be something else. He ended going from the hospital back to the RTC.

I have a short week because Friday is my colonoscopy/endoscopy.

Brenda, I hope you have (had) a lovely time at the Pictured Rocks. My dad was from the upper peninsula , and we visited the Munising area many times. It’s a gorgeous area.

Oh, I'm so sorry, Hec, that's just tragic.

My sister knew a woman who was dying of cancer when her daughter was in high school -- and she didn't tell anyone. Not even her husband. She died like a week after her daughter graduated, to the shock of the entire community. I guess that's not denial, but it's something.

In better news, I spent much of this afternoon cleaning out my refrigerator, while listening to the Revolutions podcast eps on The Martian Revolution.

And yesterday I did a 9-mile section of the SF Crosstown Trail, which is quite lovely. I saw a bunch of the city I didn't know, and we even heard coyotes in McLaren Park. Definitely recommended if you like traipsing across the city through various parks, and don't mind a lot of stairs.

Feeling that this morning. I have a stupid meeting in 5 minutes and I DO NOT WANNA!

Everyone in the mtg can see my status on the project. There is nothing any of them can do to help and so the whole meeting will be stating multiple times in different ways what I have done since last mtg and what still needs to be done. All of which is clearly shown on a spreadsheet.

You should be able to put "this meeting is already a spreadsheet" as your status on whatever y'all use to communicate and be done with it

I'm not ready for morning, and it is almost noon here. I made the oft-occurring error of eating too late in the evening and suffered all night. That said, the coconut curry paneer creation I made for dinner was absolutely delicious.
