No studying? Damn! Next thing they'll tell me is I'll have to eat jelly doughnuts or sleep with a supermodel to get things done around here. I ask you, how much can one man give?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

What I am unclear on is whether it is the puzzle or my brain that differs from day to day.

Same! There are some days that the Spelling Bee leaves me so befuddled, I start to wonder if Tim bonked me in the head overnight and my brain is only functioning for heartbeat and respiration.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm sure that the Spelling Bee creators are sometimes meany heads who live to make us suffer. Other times, they feel compassionate and toss in the ing or ed fillers to make us feel accomplished.

Man, a Spelling Bee with I, N, and G makes my entire day!

Man, a Spelling Bee with I, N, and G makes my entire day!

I feel this.

The thing I hate about the Bee is when a perfectly cromulent word is not accepted. I still shake my fist at myoma not being in whatever mysterious dictionary they use.

They use some slang, but not other slang — "gimme" and "phat" are accepted words, but "yeet" is not.

There are a lot of medical terms they don't accept. It's really annoying.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I've had to learn not to treat Spelling Bee, Connections, etc. as a daily IQ test/proof that I'm not yet senile because that way madness lies.
