I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yay sister of brenda!

I had to read that phrase 3 times before I could get it through my head that "bars" did not mean "establishments where one goes to obtain and enjoy alcoholic beverages in the company of others."

And I initially read "mixers and bars" which was even more confusing

We are not the target market for that diet. We'd just end up drunk every day.

Brenda that’s the only other diet I ever managed to stick to and lose weight on (at least for like six months ish). It did feel easier to only have to decide on one meal a day and just eat the prepacked things the rest of the time.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Ugh. In a Lyft which turns out to be a Tesla. Second time this has happened when I didn’t notice have time to cancel and get another.

Last time the driver had to reach back to open the back doors. This time the seatbelt won’t connect. In case you were wondering about the build quality.

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

Spring is definitely here; the downtown farmers' market in the library parking lot is open for the season; they'll keep going every week until early October.

Have I mentioned how good it is to live walking distance from the library?

Our wings are not tired

Ugh, I'm working on out town in TN right now and I appear to be sick. I've tested and it's not flu a or b or Covid, but I've got a really annoying dry cough, so it's something upper respiratory. Mainly rested today and I'm hopeful doing that combined with a solid night of sleep will help me feel somewhat better tomorrow.

Being away from home while sick sucks. Hope some rest helps ND.

Im in Denver, and we went to trivia tonight and it was way too hard unless you were very specific people. But was proud I got the music category theme even though we only knew two of the songs and a couple other artists. Encouraged my friend to find a different trivia night. It’s fun if you know the answers or are like “ahh it’s on the tip of my tongue…” but not if you’re just shrugging at each other going “I have never heard this song in my life” for fully 3/4 of the category.

Our wings are not tired.

In a world where we find little to celebrate, today is an exception. Today is Scola day! Happy Birthday Tom! May this day and the year to come bring joy and happiness.
