A couple I know got Covid at a recent convention -- they've held it off for over 5 years now.
I still haven't had Covid.

Human barometer news: a weather front is moving is, and my knees ache and my right hip is made entirely out of fire. I don't care for that shit at all.
I don't think I've had COVID either, though I could have if it was asymptomatic.
same here. although my secret is probably being left out of stuff, so I can't really advise or recommend that one.
My sister and I and her best friend were all unicorns and then we all got taken down at the same time. There is some dispute as to who exactly was patient zero in the scenario.
I’ve never had covid and I work with the public! Thinking about masking on Amtrak next month because of measles though.
I haven't had it, but I'm living a near-complete hermit lifestyle. Think I'd willingly take Covid (and working in the office every day) for the cancer. But I haven't managed to work out the details on that trade, though.
Timelies all!
My mom is back home after being in the hospital for over a week.(She had an UTI, which messed with her stomach. Plus someone did something wrong when they put in either an iv or a port, and she had a reaction to that) Unfortunately, spending that much time in bed made her legs weaker, so she can't stand up even for a short amount of time. Sigh...
Yeah, I've been exposed to Covid so many times and haven't gotten it, and I'm tested pretty regularly so I don't think it could have snuck by. I have also logged so much time on planes and in airports over all of this time.
Had an interesting therapy session today. It was lighter than most, which, I touched on headlines, and we've discussed my avoidance of unfiltered news and she has agreed that's wise, and mentioned that some of her older women patients have been panicky about SS and Medicare and prescriptions, and stopped herself on the point of expressing a personal opinion. I spread my hands, palms down, in opposing circles and reassured her with an earnest look and, "You're in a safe space..." Cracked her up.
DH drove me and we took a little drive after the appointment. We skirted the rain, mostly, though we did get a few icy drops on the windshield. This evening was rolling thunder, flashing lightning and pounding rain. Exhilarating. Supper was fresh shaved roast beast sammiches with horseradish, black pepper, and melted cheese, with sliced apple, carrot, and young celery with cottage cheese.
My tailbone is still cranky, but getting better. It could improve a little faster, I wouldn't mind.
