Oof, {{{Lisah}}}. And hugs and love to David as well. Grief is grief.
It was a tight connection, but now I'm now on the plane from Munich (flight is about to begin). They were not kidding about the security protocols in the entrance to the Israeli section, I barely made it in time and pretty sure that the security person and I are now dating after that pat down.
Well the trains are supposedly running this morning so I should get home today. Hope the last leg of your trip is smooth sailing, Shir!
Landed in Israel (still in the plane). Next stop: home (this will take about an hour and a half or two).
Update: that tight connection? I made it, my suitcases didn't. I'll only get them tomorrow or the day after it.
Lisa, that's stressful -- I hope you have smooth travels today!
Had a 3 hour layover in Chicago, so it was fine
I hate ORD with the strength of 1,000 suns. Although I'm usually in the Delta terminal, so maybe the other terminals don't suck as much.
I'm sorry, lisah, that is a lot.
Ugh on all the travel woes. Good to see people arriving home, but really want to have a way to transport people quickly and cheaply so we can be together more often.
Starting to plan for my move to NY. I ordered a variety of clothes to be delivered to my sister. My plan is to have clothing north and south and only travel with pet stuff and a small travel bag.
We’re home! And I have work I can do today but no meetings.
We’re home!
Excellent!

That is such a smart idea!
I get on a plane tomorrow, but I'm hoping I got all of my transportation woes out of the way yesterday, when an 18-year-old ran a red light and hit me as I was pulling out of the parking lot of my office. We all got lucky. No airbags deployed, no injuries except for a bit of soreness today. If I hadn't seen her coming and braked, she might have t-boned me.
