Anya: We should drop a piano on her. It always works for that creepy cartoon rabbit when he's running from that nice man with the speech impediment. Giles: Yes, or perhaps we could paint a convincing fake tunnel on the side of a mountain.

Our wings are not tired.

Socializing, FTW!

I'm limiting screen time while I deal with pinkeye. Annoying, but this too shall pass.

The world remains a scary place and I am filled with don't wanna. I have stuff scheduled so I really need to get out of paralyzed mode. We are going to the Keys Saturday - Tuesday and I need my condo to be in reasonable order for my friend who is pet sitting. Also, I have Book Club tomorrow night and a few more hours of listening to do, so that is higher on my list.

Isn’t pinkeye one of the new bird flu or covid symptoms? Hope you feel better soon!!

I felt run down all last week after flying home, and then the time change did not help. Felt ok yesterday but when I dragged myself to trivia, the first round was about Mario video games, and we bombed it—we got all the other answers in the next two rounds right except 1, and still we’re in LAST place at the half. Shocking as we are usually near the top. But it was good to see folks, since I had missed two weeks of trivia!

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

the first round was about Mario video games

Celebrating Mar10, probably. I saw a lot of that online.

I’m more of a fan of pi day, myself.

It was def celebrating Mar10! But sadly none of us were video games kids so we did not know the answers.

My gym buddy can’t join me this week and was sick last week. And I need motivation. Ugh.

Thrive to spite them

Well. In the past 5 weeks. M, I and now his mom have all had EMS called for us. His mom is the only one bad enough to go to the ER. But M has my car and in the confusion of trying to contact him and having the emergency people there and a drivier being angry because they pulled over and got blocked in... I' didn't ask which hospital. It could be the ER here, the big hospital or the Catholic hospital. But she isn't admitted yet so I can't find out until she is.

I feel like a terrible person. She was having breathing issues and was panting for breath. So

I hate this year

I'm sorry, askye. What a mess. Usually it would be the closest ER.

Oh, geez, askye. Good vibes to all there.

She's at the little ER here. M wanted to wait until they knew more about what was going on before he went there.

M has pleurisy. I have an ultrasound appointment for Monday.

M's mom is going to be admitted to a hospital. What we have in town isn't a hospital but an ER and like outpatient imaging and stuff. She is going to one in a nearby town (they are all owned by the same corporation). Whatever tests they did came back clear so they aren't sure what is going on but she isn't improving.
