t what about compared to last Friday? Wondering how many people are doing the boycott. Not that a 1 day boycott will do much (especially if we just go buy the stuff tomorrow) but whatever.
Blacksmithing class sounds cool!
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I don't have hourly for last Friday, just a total for the day, so that's hard to say. I'll definitely look at that when I have more of today to compare!
Blacksmithing! Awesome! Ladies Night at the Forge is a great name for it, too
Cocooning and reading sounds like a good call, lisah
I keep getting fed ads for a book that is Pride and Prejudice but Lizzie is being forced to marry someone (Mr Collins? Don't think it said) and practically held prisoner by her family and Darcy has been off being a pirate for some reason but is coming to save her. Which, okay, if that's the story they wanted more power to them, but I do feel like starting with Persuasion would have made more sense
For me here in AZ the novel thing about "Which State Sucks More?" is that we don't always win every time anymore. Although we are making small upgrades, such as Kris Mayes our feisty AG, I'm sad that that happened because so many other places ...degraded so much.
Random: Ha! I just typed "Thirded!" In a chat as if everyone would know what I meant. I mean, maybe... but it is funny to assume the rest of the word gets Phoenix-isms. Heh.
Note to self: large Vietnamese coffee at 2pm is not a good life choice anymore if you also plan to sleep.
See also: Pepsi after 4pm.
I’d say “rookie mistake” except that that is very much an elder mistake. Ask me how I know.
Why do I find the caffeine thing almost as infuriating as the saggy neck I can't tighten?
I am totally going to do a blacksmithing class!
So cool! I would SO join this Ladies Night if not for that whole ... geography thing.
Feel better, Lisah. Hope the book is just what your brain needs.
Just dropping in to mention I got a haircut, and found a salon/stylist that I really like!
Congrats, Theo! As someone who has had to do this within the last couple of years, I know this is no small thing!

I was cheered by how very many times I saw the boycott encouraged/reminded. It will be very interesting to see what (if any) impact there is.

Yeah, pretty grim, erika. It's a shame that instead of improving, the bar just keeps getting dragged down.
I am totally going to do a blacksmithing class!
That sounds like fun!
I'm trying to motivate myself to go to services tonight. There's a new independent Jewish group, organized by some people I know, who are hosting Friday night services, not affiliated with a synagogue. I know that I'll enjoy it and get a lot out of it, and that it'll be good to be social. Also, there's a prayer I'm supposed to say on the anniversary of my mom's death, and that was last week, but I was sick and couldn't go to services then. (This prayer can only be said in a group service, not while praying alone.) But I'm also exhausted, and my social anxiety is making me want to stay home.
Nice meara, Epic!
If you go, I hope you enjoy, Hil.
I'm going to a friend's daughter's dance show tonight - she and a friend choreographed and will perform - in DC and then to the after-party... somewhere downtown. [link]
I hope you are able to go , Hil
