Timelies all!
Hi CaBil! Malice is one of my regular cons, and it's local to me.(I Metro to and from there.)
However, this weekend Gary and I will be in Boston for Boskone.
Do not get me started on RFK Jr......(I work for NIH)

I'm taking a little bit of comfort remembering how quickly Trump churned through people in his first term.
I have to get to the place where reading nonsense treated as established fact doesn't raise my temperature. If they say, "you are under arrest because you are a frog" when they mean "you are under arrest because we have power and you don't," they don't care that you're not a frog. I need to get to a place where I can focus my anger on the misuse of power, not on the accusation of froggishness. Right now I'm getting mad at both, which is a waste of time. How long we've been at war with Eastasia is not the problem.
That’s six officials who resigned, triple the number that happened during the Saturday Night Massacre.
There’s a fourth deputy that hasn’t resigned yet, but that’s because they are currently giving birth, two sources tell NBC News.
ltc is busy packing for her grandparents’ house this weekend singing “it’s okay to punch nazi’s”. Just the refrain over and over again.
The SDNY stuff is bananas, but every day is bananas now.
I feel like the country is just sleepwalking through this.
There is so much bananas stuff I don’t know where to concentrate on anymore. Which, is probably the point.
Okay, I've finished my Onerous Task List, having made a chicken soup (and delivered some to my pregnant friend Eleanor - 32 weeks!), and braving the rain to pick up stuff I'd forgotten (including homemade marmalade with ginger).
Now I'm meeting up with a friend at Alembic as reward.
Today I am celebrating the anniversary of my dad's birth! He would have been 104 and we always said he was a sweetheart.
Things on the homefront are not so great. My son and his girlfriend are down here for her grandmother's funeral, and last night, my son tested positive for flu-A. She is fine but doesn't drive and probably won't fly back without him. But she should! We'll see once they get up. He is hacking away in the other room and had a 103 fever yesterday. Ugh.
Oh, boo, Laura, I'm so sorry. I hope he feels better soon.
