I was so glad he was able to pull it together. At some point while I was putting together the collage boards of pictures my brain just glazed over. "I don't even know what I'm doing anymore!" Just lost in the weeds of all the details.
But everything came together. It was really so lovely.
And seeing everyone's faces is amazing.
There was a strange parallel element to the event where it was a Memorial for Jacqueline and at the same time a Buffista F2F and I hadn't seen so many people for 5+ years.
So I managed to catch up with that element at the dinner after that Juliana organized. And that was concentrated Buffista fun.
But now I'm exhausted and ready to sleep deep.

Thank you all so much. My heart is full tonight. I feel so lucky to know you, know this place, and to be able to be in SF for the memorial. Tried to take BART to the airport only to discover the first train wasn’t arriving for 45 minutes, after I walked to the station. Fun to see all the people going the other direction ready to run bay to breakers though! Thankfully my friend kindly got up and drove me here so I’m here in plenty of time. Not sure I can handle breakfast after all that food yesterday though!
