Brenda, I love that for you, ah, ha, ha, ha! What Calli said.
Ooh, you are off to a nice start for a Sunday morning, Theo. Keep up the trend.
I'm going to shoot for pleasure reading and laundry today. Feeling a little off this morning, but it's probably because I didn't drink enough yesterday. I know that getting dehydrated has more of an impact than it does for the normal Joe, and happens very quickly for me, but I still just
forget
deny reality and/or slack sometimes. Bad adulting yesterday in that regard.
Today's plan is the Anti-Despair Resource Fair in my neighborhood (this is the one with organizations for mutual aid, reproductive justice, food access, environmental restoration, etc, AND with the raffle that has — this is a direct quote — "rad prizes"). And then the grocery store, then home to make a batch of copycat Starbucks egg bites for the week and clean the bathroom and change the sheets.
Do we need to tell you to drink some water whenever we see you here, JenP?
I am vicariously excited about the rad prizes (and the rest of the fair) and the non-verbal performance! Also the blueberry muffins, really.
I renewed my Costco membership (after letting it lapse several years ago) and now I'm off to restock my supply of comically large jars of mayo and peanut butter.
Teppy, can I get some details on your mutual aid fair? I am working on some local stuff and it looks like that has possibilities.
And also about the rad prizes.

Yeah, what kind of info do you want? I think it was organized by the owners of the indie bookstore in our neighborhood, but I'll have to double-check that.
So, remember the walkable sustainable city that consortiums of tech bros and investment bankers wanted to build in Solano County (California Forever)? My city is considering expanding its municipal borders in what is rumored to be a back door for that to go ahead without needing to get voter approval. I’m trying to read up on it and be a responsible citizen but it’s hard to know what sources, if any, to trust

It would never go amiss!
I am looking forward to hearing about the fair and the rad prizes.
I have stuck to my plan of reading, and I am dutifully shipping my "special drink" (oral rehydration solution for all your low-osmolarity needs!), and... actually, now that I'm writing it, I need to go turn the laundry. I am having a successful and enjoyable day.

I do remember, I think I learned about it from the NYC Daily podcast.
On a separate note I’m absolutely freaked the fuck out by what’s going on in the United States government right now.
