Early: Where'd she go? Simon: I can't keep track of her when she's not incorporeally possessing a space ship. Don't look at me.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Due to only having one car now

I'm guessing you made it home all right yesterday! You really need to get some garlic bread and report back to us.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

My coworker just said "work we do now may be for not" [meaning naught] in our group chat and I am finding that so charming!

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

We were a little delayed due to weather, and we arrived a little later because we had to go around weather, but it was ultimately fine.

Garlic bread sounds awesome. I am thankfully not working until Jan 2nd but still already don’t wanna, because it’s going to start with an 8am teleconference. Boo.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday amyparker!

So, quite a few years back, my brother and I decided not to give each other gifts. We would only give gifts to the kids.(At the time I had no kids). Now eldest niebling is 22 and in grad school, so I thought this was the year to stop his gifts. However, my brother e-mailed me to say that middle niebling recieved his gift card but youngest and eldest did not. I don't know why youngest's gift card didn't arrive, since I used the e-mail address my brother gave, but I didn't send one to eldest. I ended up sending one to eldest.

Was I wrong to think that graduating college was a significant milestone to stop gifts? If so, when?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Sheryl, have that discussion with your brother. My brother was the oldest on both sides of our families and our mother announced to all (us and all aunts/uncles) that the gifts should stop from aunts/uncles when he graduated highschool and she planned to do the same with the remaining nieces/nephews.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Bah! Just lost power. Hope it’s not apocalyptic.
