Our wings are not tired.

Note to self: debriefing is threadkiller

I've seen some reports and analysis, but it is in the unknown how this is going to play out category. Just watching.

Yay for lovely poached eggs.

My feet are always warm so I would pay attention to the reviews on how hot the boot is. And absolutely on what Dana said!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

What Dana said, plus get something to keep the toes warm. [link]

I just got confirmation for cat care while I'm out of town and I had to do a double take because it's from the BBC Walk-Visit Management Team. It took a second to parse that as Bark Bark Club.

I've got the expired pumpkin chili in the slow cooker and dishes have been washed. Now I should do some cleaning and see what I have for holiday cards.

msbelle, walking boots tend to rock forward and backwards a bit, so in addition to the same height, I'd make sure the other shoes is sturdy and stable. Walking in a walking boot can take a little getting used to. Also, be aware that they can be especially slippery on snow/ice.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I spent the morning with my sister, which was nice. We hit up a craft fair and a new-to-me restaurant in my wee town’s downtown area.

I’m interested in what’s happening in Syria. But, yeah, US news sources are not great for analysis. Thanks for the breakdown, Hec.

So I’m hearing that buying online might not be a good idea.

I am going to a They Might Be Giants concert in DC tonight. Should be fun, but also I think I've mostly decided I only want to entertain sit-down concerts from now on... this is at the 9:30 Club, which is a venue I went to a few times in the 80s and 90s and had fun, but, like, I feel that standing up and jostling in a loosely packed crowd is no longer my jam. It's kind of an anti-jam anymore. I am 80s and 90s Jen no more. And I'm Ok with that.

Punishingly Intricate

There are seats upstairs at the 930, JenP!

Also, you will be amazed at the fancy “new” bathrooms at the club!!

Ooh, bathrooms are shockingly important to me, nice! For sure if there's a seat to be had upstairs, that's where I'm headed. But I'm aiming for getting there pretty close to start time, so...

It’s been a minute since I’ve gone some decluttering. Since Thanksgiving I’ve given away 4 throw pillows, 2 partial bags of dog treats that weren’t good for my dog (too hard), and I’ve got takers for dog flea meds she doesn’t use, and some dog meds for Miley who passed in January.

That of course got me in the groove, so I’ve posted 2 pairs of shoes, Avery old piece of luggage (80s) and pulled another small pile of things.

Also in doing the winter/yule decorating I’ve identified some vintage things I should try to sell now when the buying is happening.

So yay! The dog stuff was almost a full shelf in pantry and the throw pillows were a medium size storage bin.
