There's a giant Red One standee in the lobby of my building (since it's from Amazon Studios) - it looks so stupid but with a great cast, which usually means fun! Maybe I'll suggest that as an alternative to seeing Wicked this weekend.

Natter 78: I might need to watch some Buffy for inspiration

Red One doesn't look *good,* but it looks like exactly my kind of Not Good.
Yes, Red One, that’s it. I expect to forget it again by dinner, but eh, what can you do. It was exactly the sort of dumb I needed at the time.
In my last few days visit to my sister's we watched 5 or 6 heist/comedy/action movies on Netflix in avoidance of reality. Twas fun. I don't remember the whole list, but it included Red Notice, Lift, Focus, and Adam Project. We are watching a lot of streamed entertainment now that we are news avoidant.
Red One is on my to see list!
Red One was worth it for the Pitch Meeting. It's very much extruded movie product, but damn, Evans looks good in it.
I have ordered my turkey for Tuesday! So I guess we won't be eating a bucket of twigs after all.
I got up with the intent to run before the next cyclone bomb, but then it poured rain. But only briefly and now I think I can sneak out there and get some exercise. Do I dare?
I wanted to see The Wild Robot but it's down to one screen and a few inconvenient times. Maybe.
I've got to clean stuff out of my fridge to make room for the more food.
Got my flu shot and pneumonia shot! I am now up to date on all the vaccines I'm able to get. Bring on the antibodies!

Our freezer is going to be uncomfortably stuffed until Thursday.
My mother almost bought a frozen turkey this morning with the intention of serving in tomorrow. Luckily, the butcher talked her out of it.
We have a church potluck tomorrow, for which I have made a loaf of bread, pumpkin rolls are in progress, and I frosted some cupcakes that were in the freezer. I am ridiculous.
BUT! I definitely needed the freezer space for my ICE CREAM ADVENT CALENDAR. I'll get it in two halves, so it won't actually be 24 cups of ice cream all at once, but still.
ICE CREAM ADVENT CALENDAR
Genius!
That also reminds me that I need to pick up some cinnamon Graeter's to go with the pumpkin pie.
I should probably re-up my pneumonia shot. I got it after I had a horrible case of pneumonia in 2008, so my 10-year window has long past.
