Thrive to spite them

t's essentially up to the Republicans and they need the seat so badly I think they won't let a vote to release it happen.

I'm hoping there are enough Republicans who hate him that he won't run against. Besides it's Florida. They should be a lock to get another Republican elected in a special session.

This morning M's sister was over and his mom tried to bait me into a fight with her. His sister is a big Trump supporter (even though all his policies end up hurting her) . His mom says "oh ,askye what do you think of Trump". I stuck to his plan for tariffs are bad. And his cabinet picks are awful.

And then M's sister was very despondent over the fact there are no good men in politics they are all corrupt cheater and commit sexual assault. I kept my mouth shut for the most part. But I did part with "Tim Walz seems like a stand up guy".

Our wings are not tired.

We are actually thinking about going to Mexico late January just to be the F out of here on inauguration day. May or may not happen. I have some leftover, but I’m not sure if I want to blow them.

Let me know! an escape at that time sounds good to me.

But I did part with "Tim Walz seems like a stand up guy".

Seriously! The "they are all that way" argument makes me nuts.

Not at all surprised that Pam Bondi got the AG nod. She has been that guy's lap dog for years. She kept him from being prosecuted in Florida when she was AG here.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Gee if only there had been an alternative to electing a man this year oh well.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Hey, I recently read that at the end of October, the CDC changed their recommended age for a pneumonia vaccine -- it used to be 65, but they lowered the recommended age to 50. I'm getting my flu shot tomorrow and added the pneumonia vaccine, because god only knows what vaccines we'll have access to next year. And the pneumonia vaccine is a 10-year vaccine, so you don't need to worry about it again for a while.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Right now any vaccine I can get, line me up.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I have to hope that the companies that make vaccines, for example, will oppose any attempt to fuck with them. I'm not saying there won't be fuckery, but maybe not utter fuckery?

This is what I'm hoping, too, but I'm also expecting so much bullshit. Might as well get the pneumonia vaccine now.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

What brenda said - I've had flu and COVID, and I think I can get into the community pharmacy in the next week or two and check this particular box.

I think the biggest danger is that if vaccines aren't mandatory, they won't be free. Which will be a HUGE barrier to herd immunity in all kinds of bad ways.

Surely the insurance companies will realize that it's cheaper to vaccinate people than to treat them. At least for people covered by insurance.
