Joining Karl on the grease-for-lunch bench.(Maybe it's a short bench; we can sit close) But I won't say what I had. No need to incite disgust. Or envy.

I am meeting a friend this afternoon to check out a possible new gym and possible new workout buddy. That would be v motivating for both of us. I’ve only been really working out once a week, which is not nearly enough.
Woo! Consider this your official appreciation of praise worthy body rocking! Getting a workout buddy helps a ton.
Timelies all!
Mr. S is still in the hospital. The tentative plan is for him to be discharged early Thursday morning, then go up to the RTC to be admitted later in the morning. We've had a bit of a snafu with the insurance, but hopefully it will be straightened out in time.
May it all go smoothly, Sheryl. Did you get all your id and card stuff straightened out?
Workout with friend successful! We plan to go again next Friday and then regularly in January. This will be excellent motivation.
Good luck, Sheryl.
Laura,
I got my work badge done on Tuesday. I have gotten a new credit card, debit cards, driver's license, social security card and insurance card. I made an appointment to get a new passport on Dec. 7th.(first time available) Waiting on my glasses.
I know I have to get my MA drivers license renewed by my birthday, but when I went to the website there was a reminder that RealID goes into effect this May.
So I'm going to have to gather up a whole bunch of documents, like my SS card and my birth certificate. I KNOW I have them, but putting my hands on them may be a labor.
Anyway, I pass this info on as a reminder that after May it will be necessary for air travel, and if the Trumpistas really get going, it may be necessary to show it at the entrance to a whole bunch more things.
(It may also go the other way -- enough Evangelicals are worried about The Mark Of The Beast, capital-L Libertarians about Internal Passports, and so on. Depends on pays enough money to his campaign and slush fund, I guess.)
Theo, I'm in the same boat. And it turns out I would have to renew in person even for the plain old license, so might as well get the whole thing done. Also, hi!

I did this in Florida. It was fun, as I had 5 last names over the years!
I finished my productive Friday by sweeping and vacuuming, doing the laundry and making dinner (Pollo Asado with rice and avocado) for me and Matilda. Then we watched The Maltese Falcon together.
I spent half the afternoon writing up the short piece (on The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd) that's been overdue, and it's half done.
So I made up for all my slackitude on Thursday.
Saturday's productivity this morning has been limited to making and drinking coffee. I really need to nail down my Thanksgiving menu. Emmett has turned into a good cook so I can assign some stuff to him. Also, I have him and Matilda make Jacqueline's spanikopita so she's present with us.
In exciting news, the weather is going to drop this weekend getting down to the low 50s and high 40s. And that means I can bust out my scarf collection. Woo!
