Laura I hope your brother is ok.
I am so exhausted. I went home yesterday and ended falling asleep almost immediately...women up for dinner and then was up for awhile before I went to bed.
During the day we usually get 3 trucks and one, the GM truck normally has 800, cases of stuff. Yesterday it was 1396, or something close. Today it's 1234ish. The grocery trucks that are usually 400 or 500 cases are over 800. The back room is crammed full of stuff and it's all we can do to try and keep up with freight.
So much cleaning supplies, candles, it looks like they are sending any flashlights and ice packs and things like that.
I'm so worried for my friends in FL, and for the state in general.
At work, one of my favorite residents has had her cancer come back with a roar.. and she's choosing to go on hospice, which may mean 6 months or so. It's a rational decision, but it's still got me down. In the 5 years I've been there, I've had some of my favorites die, so you think I'd be used to it. But she was there when I started, and has been an almost daily interaction(s) in the most pleasant of ways.
Death sucks. I do not recommend it.

I'm sorry, Theo; it is so hard. And it's always new.
It isn’t something you get used to, or shouldn’t. I’m sorry.
Good to hear you have supplies but that is a whole lot, askye.
My brother delayed so when he finally got to the radiology center it had closed. He and my sister are in mandatory evacuation zones. My sister is leaving. He isn’t, of course.
Guess who’s sick and not going to her nephews wedding after all.

Technically this is Matilda. She is sick and she's not going to a nephew's wedding.
