David that really sucks.
Work was less busy but more asshole customers. We don't have milk. We got bread but only Nature's Own Butter bread. People aren't happy with that.
Lots of people around here are buying locally to donate to WNC. I want to tell them to STOP because we are running low on stuff for local people who don't have power or water. But on the other hand I'm glad people are being generous.
A lady threatened to beat my ass because she thought I cut in line and I didn't "don't test me....I know I was here...I will bear your ass.." I was starving and trying to get food for my break. I got mad and left the came back with a manager and the lady had left and the other customers let me get my food
And I helped the lady twice before that !
There is still a power line down across 276 on my way to work. Most of the traffic lights are out. The mall parking lot has turned into temporary housing for 2000 workers...just for Greenville County they have mobile kitchen , bathrooms etc
Papers signed. Matilda is uploading now.
Bonus: we got there and Matilda said, "I think I should talk."
So she handled the whole thing and there was no issue. Did take an hour though and she needs a follow-up on low iron. Which could be yet another factor in her low energy ways.
Once her forms are uploaded I'll get a link for the deposit and we'll be on to the next stage.
But that should secure her spot in the spring Kyoto program.
Yay for form and Matilda handling her own healthcare!!
Way to go, Matilda! And yay for forms being formed!
askye I'm so sorry. All that aftermath is just hard to bear and it doesn't hardly let up. Hang in there.
My college roommate who hosted us in Colorado has received her cheese box from Zingerman's and is super happy with it! So if you ever need to gift someone some cheese, I give Zingerman's 2 thumbs way up.
Good to hear some things resolved, Hec. I hope Matilda is recovers rapidly.
((askye)) It is going to be a long road to normalcy. Every single person being stressed at the same time isn't ideal. I know the various response teams are working like crazy but they have a lot of territory to cover.
Family is here visiting. That is awesome but exhausting. My son has been involved family guy so that is cool. He has also shown real signs of consideration lately. He came up a couple times in advance to help me prep the house since he knows my physical capabilities have declined. He even called on the way up one day taking a picture of the pie board at the diner and asked if he could bring us pie. We went on an excursion yesterday and he said he would stay so he could take care of work stuff for us. He has a way to go, but is showing signs of adulthood at 32. It's nice.
Laura that’s so good to hear after many years of “what the hell kid” back in the day!!
