Thanks for the suggestion, dcp. And, I understand the confusion. I think I can reach out to the AARP legal services for the elderly. I don't know if Todd is a member, but it's worth a try.

There are some complications that make the DIY forms option less useful than they would be otherwise, but worse comes to worst, we will go that way.

Beekaytee, I will ask at my work for any suggestions of a DC lawyer.

Thrive to spite them

M's brother has power. His cousin who was stuck at our house is back at hers and she has power. Mom has power

Mom said if it had been safe we could have come up there to do laundry and have a hot shower. She's the only one who has offered

We are projected to have power back on Friday. But who knows. M"s brother doesn't come over like his cousin does but damn...you would think they'd at least offer to let us hang out in the afternoon and charge our phones.

Our wings are not tired.

Sending power~ma. The extent of the outages is considerable. Death toll continues to go up.

Thinking of our Israeli loved ones again today. Looks like a ground invasion of Lebanon is immanent.

Good luck, bee and Todd!!

I always feel in the morning like I’m drowning, at work, because I come in and have a million emails from Europe and the east coast and also usually have meetings all morning. But today I ALSO found out that half my team in Australia is unexpectedly out of office for a month? A month when we are expecting lots of work and other people are also out of office? I want to go back to bed. I can’t do their jobs and mine and the three other people’s jobs I was already trying to do??

There are crews working down the road. I hope we will have power

One of my coworkers who is at work today said there are still a lot of call outs... although a large portion is the people that call out often as they can. And that it's crazy busy. I'm glad I have tomorrow off I'm hoping Wed it will be calmer.

I did some laundry in the bathtub right after M's cousin offered for us to go up and do some laundry. My stuff is drying outside.

M has decided to spring clean and deep clean as much as possible . I took a really long nap. . M's mom and his cousin W went out for awhile to do.. something so it was quiet.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Umm, hi, just to say that I'm safe. Apologies for disappearing in the past few months, but we've been busy here with the war and everything. Additional apologies for not being able to kick out this horrendous government yet. They're kinda stubborn about being super dysfunctional and yet remain in power. It's annoying.

And thinking of Toddson, too (and all of you! Again, really sorry for disappearing like this).
