Ugh I’m so sorry, Jessica. So short sighted!!
Ugh, Jessica. That's crappy.
Jess, that sucks.
I had amazing pho with the best broth ever. No ice cream, though.
Super dumb. Like, I get wanting some in office. But five days a week is Bs.
That sucks, Jessica.
My day wasn’t quite as crappy, but it did have its moments. Last week I was invited to a meeting on a tool I “own” (train people on, administer, poke tech support on behalf of, etc.). Eh, fine. An hour before the meeting the organizer sent around the agenda which was basically: 1. How has this tool failed you? 2. Name every way this tool has done you wrong. 3. Did this tool insult your momma? How about your dog? 4. Setting this tool on fire as a warning to others—thoughts?
The meeting itself wasn’t quite that bad. People actually said nice things about training and support, which were my main areas. But damn, when I saw that agenda I thought it would be a ritual murder, starring me.
It was the last thing today, and I’ve since soothed my soul in emergency carbs. But damn, that’s not how I wanted to start the week.
That sucks Calli
And Jessica.
Getting 3 vaccinations at once was possibly a mistake. I feel like crap. However I don't feel as bad as if I had the flu, covid or shingles. This is just the 3rd "weekend" (My 2 days off) in a row that's been less than relaxing.
Y'all are much more ambitious with your shots than I am.
My 1st Shingrix shot hit me harder than I expected, although not as hard as I feared. My arm was very sore for a full week -- sore enough that I couldn't sleep on that side, and didn't want to move the arm at all if I could possibly help it.
My 2nd Shingrix shot is scheduled for Thursday the 26th. I'm hoping it won't be that bad.
Then my plan is to wait two or three weeks before I get my annual 'flu shot, wait another two or three weeks to get a Covid shot, and wait another two or three weeks before I get my first annual pneumonia shot.
Well, it's a plan. It might even work.
I still have the hot arm from Shingrix on Friday, so I'm thinking I might do covid and flu together in the other arm this Friday.
YAY SHOTS
