Same - I was shocked at how little physical activity I was up for the last time I was in Colorado, even after I started drinking gallons of water to get rid of that initial hangover feeling.

Double vax yesterday and I forgot to take Tylenol before bed. Woke up feeling awful with chills and massive lack of energy to get out of bed. Eventually I did get myself up and got Tylenol and water. Today I’m sluggish but I’m staying medicated. Weirdly I’m kinda nauseated, nothing sounds good although I know I should eat.

Also oddly gassy and I keep feeling like I need to pee, but I don’t.

No headaches for me (which is unusual!), but I have zero stamina. I’m hydrating like a sea mammal.

My throat has a lot more white patches, so I ran back to Urgent Care to see if I needed a different antibiotic. The doctor said it actually looks like it’s improving, and to just keep taking the antibiotics (duh). He said the only thing to worry about would be that if I develop an abscess, but everything is fine now.

I’m exhausted from doing Oktoberfest yesterday afternoon and the Amos Lee/Indigo Girls concert yesterday evening, but I don’t regret one second of it. However, the girls are going to Vail to sightsee and shop, and I am staying at the condo to eat popsicles and nap so I’m up for this evening’s shenanigans.

Then tomorrow I go to my brother’s house and spend the day with him and the dogs, and fly home Tuesday morning. It’s been a great trip despite my renegade throat.

It is good to hear that the fun times outweigh the discomfort.

FWIW concerning the shot being heard in the vicinity of that one's golf game. If you look at the map the golf course is bordered by Gun Club Road. It is out in unincorporated areas where people do things like shoot guns. eta: There was someone with a weapon, but the shots heard were probably Secret Service. Who knows, but it takes the news cycle away from Haitians eating pets.

I know a lot of people wish these shooters had better aim but I do not want this ass to be a martyr. I want to see him in jail.

I have a colleague in Florida who says the shots weren't about TFG at all.

After the news conference, I have to say that Palm Beach and Martin counties have their acts together coordinating with the Secret Service. Quick and efficient response.

Got double-vaxxed on Friday evening. I felt like warmed-over shit most of the day yesterday, and I thought my weekend was ruined. But then I slept for ten hours last night, and I felt way better today. Today I shot a roll of film, and did 15,000 steps.

I also went to an opening reception for a photographer I took a class with a couple of years ago. He asked me how my photography was going, and I told him I sold four copies of my zine. That kind of ended the conversation.

Meanwhile I went out with a friend last night to a club and ended up making out with a random (v cute) girl there. She told me her friends said she was not allowed to get any numbers that night. I told her that was dumb and she asked if I would be at this event next month. I said I might be out of town, and if she didn’t want my info or to give me hers, it was her loss. …went home and found her on fb in all of 5 minutes using only her first name. lol.
