I tested negative this morning! I might have pneumonia or just chest soreness from the abuse of the last few days. But, I may have dreamed some of the symptoms. I'm going to see how the day goes.

Glad you tested negative, Laura! And I hope it's just chest soreness and not pneumonia.

It's football season and already the Bengals are breaking my heart. (My brother's comment was "Losing to the Patriots is like losing to a volleyball team." Ha!)

M messaged me today that he was going to a funeral and I was confused. The manager for the sushi restaurant we go to all the time (that is literally across the street) passed away. I hadn't realized, I mean I knew I hadn't seen him and that there was a special sushi roll called RIP Mikey but I was really tried that day and didn't ask.

But a neighbor saw the obituary in the paper and told M's mom and they went. He was the same age as M and even though I never spoke to him outside the restaurant knowing I'd see him was one of the highlights of going. He always had a smile and always spoke to us for a few minutes and just he had a way of lighting up the place.

We made it to the VA hospital and they can't find M's info. I had to go to the restroom so when I left him they were trying to bring up any of his info.

If we made this trip for nothing....I'm going to be so frustrated

After much calling around and thinking be had to be in Columbia it turns out he had to be in Anderson. Which is also about an hour from our house. I thought M had taken his anxiety meds this morning but he didn't . And now he is super anxious and it's in the car

However since we are right here we went to the ER ...(The person in podiatry suggested it) So be can get it looked at here and see what , if anything has to be done .

I already loved Penzeys, but I was tickled to see Kamala visit them. They deserve the attention.

M's toe is healing well. He crushed the tip of it and they are giving him a real walking boot vs the shoe thing he had but the Dr says it should heal fine and that he will have arthritis.

M is still frustrated with all of this but I think things ended up the best they could.

You know who is probably having a crappy day today? The 2 men who got arrested at work. One was skip scanning ...he was scanning bananas as everything else he had. When confronted he was dismissive and rude and he has a history so they called the cops. He ran across the parking lot to the bushes between us and the gas station and "hid". Badly hid because he kept peeking out where he could be seen. His car was parked close to the store I guess.

Then another guy came on and was being loud and rude and vulgar and had already been warned and so the cops were called and they were around I guess and the manager on duty was having him trespassed. The rude guy tried to claim he had no ID and also that he was being harassed. He wasn't. The cops were able to find a warrant on him and arrest him.

While they were still in the parking lot Banana Boy (as he was dubbed) peeked around the bushes again and was spotted and the cops went after him and arrested him . And since he has done this before charges will be filed against him for those.
