Day two of conference, and I am so tired from talking to people all day! Have met some great people, but, man, I am tired. Dinner tonight with our crew and then early to bed and the final push tomorrow from 10a-1p. We're one of the sponsors, so we have a booth... with a donut wall! Actual donuts people can take and eat... and chat with us. Brilliant. (I mean, if you're a germaphobe and/or not willing to eat food that's hanging on a wooden peg on a wall, I get it - I've honestly been delighted by the percentage of people who hear "donut wall" and are totally game!) Sadly, none are GF. I am so oppressed. (Er, the donuts are not GF... people probably aren't either if they've just eaten a donut.)
I went to bed before the Obamas speeches last night, so I'm looking forward to watching both of those... sometime. I've heard good things.
[ETA: I do nothing to counter the stereotype the GenX abuses the fuck out of the ellipsis, huh? Oh, well. I'll own it.]
Also, no moose sightings yet despite all the signs that claim they may be crossing.
When I drove through the Lake Superior-adjacent parts of Ontario I saw those signs all over the place. I didn’t see a single moose, though.

The ellipsis are our Precious.
If it weren't for my parens thing, I'd have an ellipsis thing.
Timelies all!
We finally had the IEP meeting today. Mr. S will be starting at the same school he was at last year, but referrals are being sent to non-public schools that would better serve his needs.

You had me at "donut wall."
Sheryl, I hope that Mr. S is placed in a school that is a good fit.
I heard on IPR of NPR in Iowa, say that the states picked their own songs for the roll call.
Interesting choice for Tim W;s music. Keep on Rocking in the free world.
