We're proud to say that the Class of '99 has the lowest mortality rate of any graduating class in Sunnydale history.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I'd give a bazillion dollars for Hillary Clinton to refer to Trump by saying "Fuck that guy."

Our wings are not tired.

Clinton looks and sounds great. What a different world it would be if she was in the White House where she belonged.

Yah, the extended ovation for HRC made me happysad because of the timeline that we split off from back then. The "lock him up" chant was pretty epic.

(Ugh, did not like the dis on Stormy Daniels in that Law and Order thing. Unnecessary. They could've hit that point without using that tone on "porn star" or her picture.)

Raskin is going to town. Kinda love it.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I haven’t seen any Trump signs, because Harris is the more conservative option here. We had a building taken over by anarchists not that long ago. Since Bakunin isn’t on the ballot, Harris will take my precinct.

I’ll be visiting family in a very red town over Labor Day, and I’ll be interested to see what the signage is like.

Our wings are not tired.

Steve Kerr was my favorite last night. He was spot on. They should use his speech in commercials. Biden, history will be kind. I wish more people were.

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

A friend of the household is from Minnesota, so she and her household created this bumper sticker: [link]

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Matilda and I had scheduled getting our passports done this morning in Petaluma and also going to the DMV to update the registration on my car.

But I failed at Adulting! I thought I had my birth certificate with all the passport papers, but it was nowhere to be found. Did I check to make sure I had everything together before the day of the appointment? No I did not.

Also, I forgot that I needed a smog check to do the registration. I tried to ad hoc the whole thing and at least get Matilda's passport in progress and do the smog check up in Petaluma but decided it would be better to cancel and regroup.

Which I'm glad I did. I just ordered my birth cert online and scheduled a smog check for this afternoon so we can give it another try next week.

Does everybody know where their birth certificate is? And their passport? And all their other certifications? (Marriage license, death certificate, deed to your house?).

Of course you do. Because you've mastered the concept of files.

Anyway, we're getting our shit together one piece of important paper at a time.
