I'm not evil again. Why does everyone think that?

Thrive to spite them

I made the mistake of reading a transcript from Charlie Kirk.... apparently Russia invaded Ukraine because Harris said that Ukraine wanted to be a member of NATO in a speech and that is not all her fault but mostly her fault.

Our wings are not tired.

AOC tweeted "Dems in disconcerting levels of array" which I love

That is delightful! As is the Walgreen's content getting where it belongs.

Flying back to NY today. No packing because I didn't bring anything down with me. I just need to drag the balcony furniture inside in case of hurricanes. I hosted book club here last night and the others told me they would be happy to come over and drag the stuff in if needed, which was nice, but I'll go ahead and do it. Storms just build so quickly now.

Book club gathering was the first time I have had people over since my mural was painted. One of the women just moved here in July from Italy and was excited to recognize the rendering of the Elbo Room. She is reading the books in Italian but joined our club to practice her English and meet the neighbors. I have so much admiration for people who dive into a new foreign environment. I'd like to think I would have the courage. She said she was proud of herself for grasping about half of what we were saying while we all responded that she sure as hell should be!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Someone described the "vibe" of the Harris/Walz camp as "we're popping popcorn and bullying fascists"

I like it.

Yeah I’m impressed by the attempt to discuss in another language. I’d be lost and exhausted.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Skip/skim reading.

Anyone else feel like their on a forever moving too fast merry go round, but simultaneously feel like your doing nothing?

Today’s been a bleargh. Boss, who processes and goes about things much differently than me tells me I’m to present for her at a monthly managers meeting in 10 days. She’s working on the items to present…..so now I’m trying to take away the items from her since unless I work on them I’ll have no idea about them.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

"You should never say bad things about the dead, only good… Joan Crawford is dead. Good.” —Bette Davis

Oh, that is a familiar feeling.

We found out yesterday that Mom's cancer has returned again, albeit in small spots. Treatment option should be the same as the time before last back at the start of the year. Frustrating, but I'll take it over unpleasant surprises.

Oof, Matt. Hope that goes as well as possible!
