Natter 78: I might need to watch some Buffy for inspiration

Tim Walz's hot dish recipe. It's topped with tater tots.
Dude is just so... not Vance!
I am getting a massive amount of rain from Debbie. In the Adirondacks! I leave Florida in the summer to get away from this stuff. It being in the 60s is different though.
Isn't all hot dish topped with tater tots? Or are there non-tot hot dishes?
So far Debby is being EXTREMELY WINDY and humid but not much rain. The wind is kicking around the trees to the point where my power keeps flickering, so really hoping we don't have an outage.
No idea about hot dishes, being originally from the south (first rule - if it doesn't move, fry it). Also being inundated by Debby - had to come in to work and got soaked to the skin (literally - bra and underpants soggy, shoes soaked). Had some dry things at work I could put on, but still not comfortable.
Church hot dishes in my neck of the woods (west Texas) generally had crushed potato chips on them. Mind you, that was 50+ years ago.
I made a hot dish this morning! Flying to Florida for a few days leaving in the morning and I had 4 zucchinis in the fridge that needed to be cooked. I made a cheesy casserole with them which I will freeze in a few containers to pop out as side dishes as needed. I have a bunch of keto meals in the freezer that I made to have on hand when I don't want to cook. Grocery stores are not nearby so I am not always stocked. I do have lots of farm stands and egg stands around so that part is easy.
eta: now that I have been all productive I am sitting down to watch The Umbrella Academy. I rewatched the end of S3 earlier.
I thought non-tot hot dish was a thing but I have not actually experienced it in the wild, as it were. That’s fun to say either way. Tot-topped hot dish or not-tot hot dish.
Eta and now that I have read the recipe - I would use canned green beans instead of blanching fresh, but that's just how I roll. Sounds pretty tasty!
Now I would like some tater tots, whether by themselves or on top of a casserole dealie.
I think there may also be hot dish with like, hash browns on top? But I am from a casserole place not a hot dish place
