Though today we're going to wander down to the tiny museum in Topsail Beach that has, among other exhibits, an exhibit about pirates. I'm planning to exclaim "Where's Wee John? Where's Buttons?" as many times as I can before Tim shushes me.

My only plan is to have lunch or dinner with my bestie who's been in NM visiting home for a month. I mean, we "work from Zoom" every day, so it hasn't been that different, really, but in-person will be nice.

Just got news that my mother, a few days shy of turning 88, looks like she won’t make it to her birthday. Heading to a hospital in NJ now.
