Westchester County's ballot scanners are all down today, and I have received no fewer than five text messages assuring me that votes will still be counted. Really hoping Mike Lawler doesn't get reelected due to technical difficulties suppressing turnout.

Broward County had technical issues earlier too, but apparently they were resolved. Of course this will be used to challenge the bluest county in Florida.
After doing a long list of things, including voting, I finally swam for almost an hour. Oh my pool felt wonderful. Maybe a bit more exercise in the strong winds. I didn't swim all summer because Otter Lake may feel good to otters, but it is way too cold for me. It didn't bother me in my youth, but my comfort matters more to me these days.
eta: My front desk person at the condo hugged me and said I was missed all summer. Sweet.
Now I wonder if Matilda will be called David.
