This too shall pass.

Tacos and rum reaper sounds yummy. And, don't you know if you could just chip in $3 we could win this thing.

About to leave the hospital and go have fresh fish at my favorite fish place here. There is no fresh fish worth consuming in Otter Lake, at least not for Floridians.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

There was an empty seat in first class when I walked through. Grr.

The seat next to me is *not* empty and the guy sitting next to me has been talking in the phone since he sat down. My noise canceling airpods are not canceling enough.

Good news from my cleaning, but I think we're still looking for a dentist. But at least I won't have to come back right away.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Tacos and a rum drink sound vacation-y.

I need to find a dentist. I haven’t been since I moved back to MI, and that’s coming on 2 years now.

Thrive to spite them

-t I listen to thunderstorms to drown iut people talking.

Sophia I hope you have a smooth recovery.

Much health~ma to your sister Laura.

We are supposed to go to Florida on Monday. I have barely done anything that needs to be done. I really really need to relax on tbe beach.

BUT M's mom has been sick since Monday night/Tuesday morning. Major GI problems, not eating or drinking. Yesterday M's sister took her to the ER and they said she had food poisoning and was very dehydrated. They gave her some medicine, including potassium, to take. Last night she seemed better. Ate a little. Took her meds ok.

This morning his sister came by again and coaxed her into taking her meds and she promptly threw them all up. So it doesnt seem like she is getting better.

They did a CT scan at the ER and found cyst on her ovary, a spot on her liver, and a splenic artery aneurysm and said she needs to follow up with her doctor. I reminded M about that and he said "I'll talk to my sister about calling tomorrow. " tomorrow is Sat. The doctor is closed. They need to get her in ASAP.

So if I go in vacation is up in the air I guess. And I'm worried because M's mom doesn't take care of herself and puts stuff off and I'm really worried she is going to have a medocal emergency.

Punishingly Intricate

I’m so sorry, askye. Really hoping you don’t have to cancel your well-earned vacation.

Oh no, askye! I hope M’s mom is ok and you get your vacation

I slept in like crazy this morning (my alarm went off at 5:45 as usual but I just turn it off and went back to sleep for 4 more hours, highly recommend), went out for a decadent and delicious lunch and am now at a loose end until the tailgating thing this evening.

Came by the main branch of the library because it is a place I actually remember and it’s extremely different. Whole new multi story building, and big trees around the soccer fields where I remember no trees at all. 40 years will do that, I guess.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Oh no askye! That would be so unfortunate and disappointing.

Much ~ma to your sister, Laura.

I have successfully talked boss lady down from a rota, which included contacting my uncle aunt and Maria to schedule them shifts to sending out an email saying I am up for visits, fattening food, Zoom calls, and light lifting/laundrey. I had to put my foot down when she started listing Maria and my Uncle as people with shifts! I know I may need that soon, but let us wait until after my followup- I would like to take advantage of feeling good and mobile. Everytime I try to make plans without waiting for my doctor, they end up being too much, so let us hold until there is actually a need for this.

Yeah ! No over planning .

M's mom started feeling a lot better and actually got up and was moving around. Still tired but not as bad. She just needa to keep eating and drinking and someone needs to make sure she takes her medicine.

We still haven't early voted. At this point I want to come home Mon Nov 2 so we can vote on Tuesday. The alternative is to try and get to early voting after I get off. We also need to pack , etc. Ugh. I hate the before vacation stuff.
