I feel pretty certain you should not just go back to work, Sophia! Whatever is telling you that, don't listen.
Co-worker has put together a pretty intense training schedule that I just realized today almost exactly covers the same time span as the outlet sale (which he doesn't really have to know about because he's remote so it's not like he will be working at it and he joined us this year so he hasn't seen how much bandwidth it takes up). November is going to be so fun.
Sophia, take the time your body needs now.
So glad you are home.
It seems like nothing good will come at 7:30???
NOTHING. I can't decide which I'm more angry about: the ominous meeting, or the fact that it's at 7:30.
Both are bad, and feed on each other to get worse
I vote ominous, personally. The 7:30 part is just insult to injury, but I start at 7:30 more often than not thanks to the whole global company piece.
Please rest assured that this does not relate to any impact on your individual roles or status
There is nothing in there that's not a red flag.
Sophia, welcome back! Glad to hear you're feeling good!
Nothing in my house works and we really need to fire out HVAC company but we also need shit fixed NOW. The heat is temporarily back on but the furnace apparently needs a very expensive replacement part and when I told the guy "your company installed this 5 years ago" he basically accused me of lying. (I went back and checked the paperwork - it was 6 years ago and the part he quoted me might actually still be under warranty.) The water softener didn't get installed due to town bureaucracy shenanigans, but they're coming back tomorrow and that one's less urgent. (We've got corroded valves all over the place but nothing is ACTIVELY broken.)
Very exciting news about the musical, Jess! That sounds right up my alley.
Not so excited about the home maintenance stuff. Blergh.
