When I was 25 I damaged my dominant foot (first 2 toes shattered and lost half the middle toe). I get around well and have decent balance, but in recent years the tendon that goes from the arch around the inside of the ankle and up the calf has been a problem and it's likely because of the way I compensate for the lack of flex in the first 2 toes.
My Pilates teacher would love to work with you. She loves that shit.
(She had debilitating hypermobility that left her housebound for a couple years and was able to fix herself with Pilates so she's all about figuring out how to create support for past physical traumas.)
