It's "write your annual review" time, and my boss told me I should make sure I include as many examples of things I did tied to the level expectations for my role.
UGH, I hate shit like this. (It is one of the only tasks I find AI truly useful for, since (a) I don't want to do it and (b) I don't remember this entire year.)
We changed our self evaluation program again. In the training for the new system they told us they wanted us to practice using AI with our evaluations.
So I set it to "corporate language," typed things in, fixed the letter, submitted it.
This was good because I'm crap at corporate language.
Forget plastics, the future is in self-evaluation - we change it annually.
Thank you, peeps!
Holy shit -- DH and I were just talking, and I said I wanted to continue the tradition of going to my favorite local diner for b-day dinner on my actual b-day (there are a couple of capital B birthday dinners this weekend, so... chill is the goal for today) -- not an hour later I see an article saying that the diner and the couple of bakeries and such they own are being sued by the feds for $20M in back taxes. How... what... how do you DO that? This is a dude my DH will have the occasional drink with at a local dive. Like, I know him. We chat. Holy shit. That is ROUGH.
$20M in taxes?? That’s so much money!!!
Somehow I am STILL slightly sore from Saturdays vaccines, though no longer sore enough that I’m feeling it and annoyed constantly. Hoping it means I am going to be Very Protected.
I also used AI on my annual eval but not sure how to best make it make me sound amazing when I barely remember the things I did.
Maybe its just the Jersey in me, but my head went "Oh, they're mobbed up and were laundering money."
$20M in taxes?? That’s so much money!!!
I know! Crazy.
Trudy, right? But, like... badly? (I have no idea how laundering money works, honestly.)
