I think I'm going to need pho for dinner. My throat is still sore, which I expected, and pho is perfect for a sore throat. In fact, it would be medical self-negligence if I *didn't* get pho.
My MASH update is that it continues to be the perfect show to binge-watch while I'm loopy on the combo of opioids and muscle relaxers.
Happy birthday, erika!
I was going to have leftovers for dinner but now I want to find some pho or tacos. You bunch of shameless enablers. (I love you)
I've been enjoying having extended family to cook for here. My nephew and niece both work full time, and have a teenager, and my sister doesn't really cook, so I have 6 for dinner any time I feel like cooking, which is often. When I am in Florida I haven't been doing that, although I should.
Tonight it is spinach lasagna, with a side of hot sausage for those who eat that stuff. A couple of days ago it was sweet and sour chicken. Last week it was green curried pork. Whatever I put on the table they love so it is super easy to try new recipes on them. Especially the teenager who claims that everything his aunt makes is spectacular. Then again, 16-year-old athletes will eat anything.
Mmm, pho. May I recommend for future sore throat soothing Tom Kha or Tom Yum, both of which are pretty magical when I have a cold
I went to Jack in the Box for lunch because they offered me a free cheeseburger and advertised a Krusty Burger and sometimes I am very silly. If anyone is tempted, both were very disappointing. As I suppose is in keeping with the original as depicted on The Simpsons, I don't know why I expected better.
