Oh no -t!! Although it could have been much worse.
Penny went to the vet today. She has lost weight because her mouth is in horrible shape and she needs extensive dental work to remove the plaque and probably remove the rest of her teeth. So that will be happening.
I am going to get some dental wipes so we can start taking care of Duchess and Scrappy's teeth.
And Mom really loves the Independent Living Place
BUT she found a house for rent in Brevard that is everything she has wanted. So guess what she is doing ? Renting the house. She did say she would rent it for one year and then move to the Independent living place.
Shit, our bid is in the top 5 but not the highest. They're taking counter offers until 8pm.
Ours is the only bid that's a cash buy though so we'd win out over a tie.

They are cleaning a room for mom to move to, hooray! We sent my dad home to rest, hopefully he is napping. Mom’s doing pretty well, ready to nap herself but content to sit here chatting with me
In a private room! It’s nice and quiet up here. Mom is pretty excited to get up and go to the bathroom (with assistance)
Oh my gosh, -t! I’m glad I read this after your mom I was bandaged up and excited to use the bathroom in her private room! Hope her recovery is smooth.
So far so good! She’s asleep right now which is such a relief. And Dad called after going home and sleeping for a bit, he’ll head back to the hospital with her hearing aid charger and cell phone and post-surgery eye drops if he can find all that.
I think some of the swelling around her eyes is already going down, although the bruising will probably be spectacular tomorrow
