information libertarian

The Seven Against Thebes is part of the Oedipus Cycle. Two sons of Oedipus are battling over the city; one solicits outside help. Everybody dies, and the aftermath is the story of Antigone. Typical cathartic Greek tragedy stuff.

Happy Birthday, sj!

We have a visitation/funeral (no church mass) this morning for Tim's uncle, and Tim has some stomach badness but is insisting on going. Poor noodle. We'll see how long he lasts; we may just go for the visitation part, pay our respects, and get him back home.

My sinuses are actively trying to kill me; last week I had 7 days of antibiotics for a sinus infection, and when they were done, I still had serious pain and pressure in my sinuses that kept giving me migraines. So yesterday the doctor added 3 more days of antibiotics and 10 days of prednisone. I look forward to the burst of prednisone productivity. And my sinuses better calm the fuck down.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thanks everyone. We’re in Mystic for a couple days, as a birthday present from TCG.

Happy Birthday sj! Hope it's an enjoyable trip.

A trip sounds nice! It is supposed to finally warm up here this week…possibly too much if it’s actually 90 degrees Sunday (I do not want to sit and watch a soccer game in blazing 90 degree sun!) but I’m hoping to go to the beach Friday or Saturday, if the lake is clean enough to swim in (much like the Seine?)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Happy birthday, sj!

Healing vibes for your house, Tep

Happy Birthday, sj!

Behave, Teppy's sinuses. Seriously.

Hot here. Going to a play tonight - apparently Hair was formative for my husband, so he asked to go... sure, why not! He doesn't often suggest things, so I'm always down. Well, so far, anyway.

Thank you, flea!

Happy birthday, sj!

Flush your head, Tep!

It's a heatwave in SF but due to microclimates my neighborhood will be about 74.

Our wings are not tired.

Enjoy, sj!

Health~ma to the Teppy household.

Mixed feelings. It was so huge when I was in HS. Brings me joy, but depressing too!

The microclimates of SF are fascinating to me. Nothing like it anywhere I have lived.

Son and GF are here today helping me with projects. It is a pretty chill day.
