I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I mean, the mountain's not going anywhere for six months or whatever. Unless whoever Kroc was afraid of shows up, Frank's rescue seems like the most urgent thing...

That which does not kill you should RUN

I think the entity Kroc is afraid of has to be Chuck, right? He was introduced in season 2 and then popped up in season 3 again, but hasn't really been used much. I feel like it's time to bring Chuck back.

Ooh, interesting! That hadn't occurred to me, Steph! Kroc's end was perfect, oh my lord. I haven't had a relisten yet, but there were many delightful moments. Little thing, but the sound of Peter marching off to execute his battle task du jour makes me smile every time.

(Commentary from a friend: "I just imagined the actor who is playing Lestat in the TV show reading that and ended up laughing so hard I choked.")

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Kind of quiet here on the board.

"Weird" Al concert was great, even if it was raining buckets for most of the evening. Luckily we had pavilion seats.

Karl i like that.

I feel like I've got no energy and I've been worried...is it something weird and medical ? Is it depression? Is it perimenopause/menopause (if i make it to October that will make 12 months no period).

Or is it that when it hasnt been ungodly hot it's been ungodly humid. At work we haven't had an overnight team lead in almost 3 months and overnight workers aren't even trying. So most days instead of doing most of my job I end up cleaning up their freight. We also have 3 people on medical leave, 2 people in the same department got fired. And there has been no one to work picking grocey orders on most days between 2-5 . And there have been call outs so some days all I do is pick groceries. And try to get my stuff done as fast as possible.

We have one assistant manager who has gone from kind useless to completely useless . And today i was putting out leftover freight but have gotten side tracked because everything is wrong and I'm having to check counts and move things around.

So maybe I'm just getting overheated at work and fed up with dealing with all this and when I'm off I don't want to deal with people and self soothe amd relax..
