Well, now I want the colander set. I do not have a good colander. I have my mom's old thin, three-legged thing that I use and have not replaced for sentimental reasons (pretty sure it's older than I am), but I would 100% get the set they are showing. You can never have too many colanders. (I also have a crappy plastic slotted thing and a big and a small fine mesh strainer, so I make due, but... shiny, shiny colander set!)
So, I no help in the deciding department.
I am clearly a peasant with my wooden pasta retention tool.
Putting up floating shelves today for my books. They are super nice looking. Altough my walls are pine planks I decided to get a stud finder to be extra secure. Of course I got home to find I also needed a 9 volt battery. Sigh. At least my nephew has one so I don't have to make the trek to town again.
Yesterday's big project, which I only observed, was taking down some trees. The guy who does it here is amazing and super personable as well. I loved how he worked with his helpers. Super positive. As they secured ropes and so forth he would shout how perfect a job they were doing. Also, totally insane way the hell high up in the sky with a chainsaw. I'll have to post a video. I sent him a few for his collection.
Well, today was supposed to be an in office day but the power went out in our part of town, so now it’s wfh. I am pausing for lunch en route.
I do like those colanders, Jen. I’ll have to check if they are available with discount….
