A mini fridge would be great but I’m really just upstairs over night. I’ve been hanging out on the chaise part of my sofa, on the same floor as my kitchen all day. I meant to bring a package of pop tarts up last night but I forgot and I once again woke up for my 4am meds STARVING
Emergency is one of the first shows I remember watching, aside from cartoons. Mantooth had a good run though, at 80.
Lisah, I hope you’re continuing to heal and well fed. My disaster had a knee replacement a few weeks ago. She’s about ready to transition from the walker to a cane.
Your “disaster?” ?!!
Lisah try setting an alarm for a tome before you go upstairs with the pop tart reminder
I have to do that a lot to remember stuff to buy before I go home. I think at this point every day has an alarm at 5:50 named things like :Cat food !! Or Coffee, milk, bread, toothpaste. I just turn them on and change my list
Pop tart alarm is a great idea!
We've got hazy orange skies again from Canadian wildfires. Air smells smokey too.
The sun last night was quite fiery and red through the smoky haze. Can't see it tonight, but a pale orange sky all day. waves to Jess from the west
I usually use this site for checking on US fire reports: [link]
I also found this other one, which shows the activity in Canada as well: [link]
Timelies all!
After a few days of (relative) cool here, we're back in the high 90s/low 100s with all the humidity you can eat. Yuck.
Meanwhile, Monday was Mr. S's birthday. He turned 11. We visited him and brought cake, cards and some of his gifts.
