Last night I was able to see a green sea turtle lay her eggs, cover them up, and return to the ocean. No photos because tourists are not allowed to bring anything that casts any light at all, but it was indescribable. I've felt such a strong connection to these animals my entire life and never seen one outside a zoo. Being able to be with her on this multi-hour journey was such a phenomenal privilege.
