Grrrrr. That is seriously annoying.
It was! But I got my scrip, and then went to Alembic and had yummy food and a couple cocktails and struck up a lovely conversation with someone new (Hazel) and then ran into two more people I knew on the way out. So that counter balanced things somewhat.
Knee surgery went fine! Made it home and made it up to bed on the second floor this evening. May have to go down on my butt tomorrow though. Ice machine got here and it’s great!!!

Good luck Lisah I cleaned out my books in December, but it kind of doesn't look like it now--I just don't have enough space, either. Even though I buy fewer books.(Still not zero, although I bet it's been...about three months which is a record since I'm not eleven in a pre-civilian internet world anymore.) Finished up what at times was a literally shitty week with getting my second installment for the story I sold...can't wait till it comes out, which should be imminent.
Congrats on the knee and the ice! I would honestly love to have both of those things right now. It's incredible here but I have done A Lot Of Walking and it is more humid than I, a Washington DC native, knew it was possible to get. (There is a level beyond Former Swamp apparently, and that is Actual Rainforest.)
