Thrive to spite them

Atropa that is so frustrating.

Calli yay for the house !

My almost fainting spell last year was the vasogael nerve . And then some od the other dizziness I was having was probably triggered by the stomach issues I was having. Or they were causing the vasogal nerve to misfire or something. Luckily I have it mostly under control.

Sorry for cereal posting but I got FANTASTIC news yesterday. My Aunt's Life Partner whp was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer last year got his latest scan results and

He has "near complete to complete response to treatment!"

So yeah his cancer has pretty much fucked off.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Glad to hear good cancer treatment news, askye.

"Somewhere in this building is our talent." Toby Ziegler, my spirit animal

Yeah, that sounds good. Nice and unequivocal--even Mom didn't fully get that, although it kind of happened that way so I don't want to be greedy about it. About my own thing, it's interesting to try to pretend there was a path and I'm on it. Generally, my creativity is more like Cordelia's visions than something where I decide "I have to talk about this."(I try that sometimes; mostly it doesn't work.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That’s great, askye!

I walked around a local lake yesterday. It’s about 2.5 miles, which isn’t much to someone in actual physical shape. But for me it felt like an accomplishment.

You have to remember that being a 5-time Olympic medalist means Hilary Knight has been playing hockey at an elite level at least 16 years. It's impossible for her to be a teenage girl less than 16 years old, thus the President's complete lack of interest.

I got a goodly number of chores done over the weekend, but it still felt unproductive because frequent rains have kept me from doing the yard work that's piling up. (I spent the last dry evening last week mowing Mom's lawn, opting to let my back yard's transformation into a jungle progress instead.)

Tonight I go in for a sleep study that my electrophysiologist ordered. Which I'm ambivalent about—I seem to sleep deeply and usually wake up refreshed, so even if they diagnose me with sleep apnea I'm not using a CPAP machine.

Our wings are not tired.

Per my watch my sleep scores are almost always pitiful. Around 40. Last night I just couldn't get to sleep at all. I generally go to bed around 10 and read for an hour. I tried to sleep after reading and no success so I finished my current read at about 2 AM. My sleep score was 82. Apparently my body gets more rest reading than actually sleeping.
