I finally managed to get my butt out of bed and get my coffee and body over to the beach for sunrise at 6:40. I used to do it all the time but got lazy. It was just over 1000 steps round trip. That is not too much to ask for starting the day with ocean breezes.

I am currently figuring out what to do with a giant purse of $17,000 in one dollar bills.
I am reading an article on piracy during the Civil War that mentions one ship that got seized and sailed to Bermuda where it was refused entry and scuttled but the pirates are presumed to have kept $17,000 in currency. Probably not in singles. They were all arrested as soon as they got ashore, so I don’t advise following the whole “funding more piracy” plan.
I'm sure you know this, Sophia, but if you're going to be selling the house, check EVERYWHERE for stuff. My parents found money stashed in so many random places when my grandfather passed away.

I’m sorry, Sophia. And to follow on with the “check everything “ above, my niece just finished helping her bestie clean out her mother’s house after she passed. They discovered that her mom put money in books, so they had to leaf through every book in the house to find it. It was a process.
Almond-butter granola: I have a job offer! It’ll start at the beginning of July (unless they can get me in earlier, which I would prefer). I’ll be working for the state government, remotely. It’s an editing job. The people seem nice, and with any luck I’ll be able to stay there until I can retire.
