I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That sounds bothersome, Steph. Anytime I have issues with back or neck pain my body reminds me how much moving anything else affects them. I get the interconnectedness of all things, but does that have to start with our spinal columns?

Almond butter granola: Here’s a question I saw two lawyers debating on Instagram. If a vampire policeman has a signed warrant, could he enter your house without you giving him permission? (The lawyers disagreed with each other on this.) [link]

What do we think? And would it vary with jurisdiction? The above was US-centric, but what about other countries that have warrants (and, presumably, vampires)?

I say nay. The prohibition is outside the judge's scope.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Agreed, although if a non-vampire cop can enter with the warrant and invite the vampire in I guess that might work?

"The thing about dorks is we stick together. Mostly for gaming purposes but also because it wards off jocks, gutter clowns and other Stephen King-like threats." - Lauren Okie

Hmm... I say no. A warrant is definitely not an invite from the resident.

(One reason I’m selfishly glad women’s sports aren’t more popular…I couldn’t easily afford things like the World Cup if it was men’s pricing!)

All of our tickets are for women's events!

Grace and I went with a friend to see Eileen Harris Norton's collection of art a gallery downtown. I'm sort of obsessed with Harris Norton. I love that she started collecting when she was still a teacher (she talks about going to May Company and how they had a museum on the third floor. She bought a print from Ruth Waddy. I'm blown away with how many beautiful pieces she owns.
