Thanks, everyone!
Oh, hey, Bebe Neuwirth just like one of my photos on Bluesky.

That's pretty cool!
I don't want to complain (too much) about our health insurance, because in the past 6 years Tim has had 4 major surgeries and then cancer treatment, and we aren't bankrupt, and in the hellscape that passes for the United States' healthcare system, that's honestly huge. We're fine, financially; we had to slow down our retirement contributions somewhat, but when the alternative is literally bankruptcy many times over, again, I can't complain.
But I am going to complain! Just a small one, though. Our insurance is so fucking weird about telehealth visits. They covered them during the first couple of Covid years, and then decided the pandemic was over and they wouldn't cover telehealth any more. I legitimately forgot about that, had a telehealth visit last month, and now I have a $150 bill because insurance is like, fuck you, we'll cover surgeries and chemo and radiation and your expensive migraine meds and rheumatoid arthritis meds, but god help you if you want to sit on your couch and talk to your doctor via Zoom. Seriously, my dudes? You baffle me.
Again, given the choice, I'm super glad to not be bankrupt from all the surgeries and cancer treatment, but it's just fucking weird that telehealth is a no-no.
Happy birthday, Tom!
Tep, that's some kinda bullshit.
^^^ Which is why I have an in-person appointment with Awesome Doctor today for (maybe) a pinched nerve. In person is better for this anyway, so he can poke the affected area with a stick, or whatever witch doctor shit he's gonna do.

It is, but, again, it's honestly a minor complaint considering what kind of bills we could have had. It's just so goddamn weird and inefficient.
