Willow: Something evil-crashed to earth in this. Then it broke out and slithered away to do badness. Giles: Well, in all fairness, we don't really know about the "slithered" part. Anya: No, no, I'm sure it frisked about like a fluffy lamb.

Thrive to spite them

I'm sorry to hear about Sue. It definitely sucks getting older and having to hear more and more people who have passed..

Thrive to spite them

I was working so wasn't able to go to the No Kings protest here but I seen pictures and it was well attended.

My team lead heavily implied that one of the ops managers might be let go at some point "they put him on overnight for a reason" and I'm trying not to feel like a horrible person for hoping he does leave. I hope he finds another job and quits but he is a huge drain on the store. I was complaining about why they put a manager on overnight if nothing has improved when my team lead let that slip. It might just be a rumor but nothing has improved. I've been relieved that the ops manager had been overnight because I don't get asked to finish things for him and then see him walk off and disappear or have him tell me he'll take care of something and then it's not leaving me scrambling to get things done.

I've had a low opinion of him ever since right after I started I complained about overnight and their mistakes and his response was "it's how they are what can you do ?". I had to bite my tongue not to tell him "you are a manager it's part of your job to make sure they are "

And in happier news. I will (fingers crossed) being picking up E at the airport very late tomorrow night. So any Easy Travel ~ma would be appreciated.

Our wings are not tired.

{{Megan}} Yes, my list of deceased friends is becoming far too long. My mom lamented in her 90s over having many more deceased friends than living ones. Social media is definitely an aid for staying in touch, but you don't necessarily notice or think anything is amiss when a friend hasn't posted recently.
