askye, all of that sounds alarming.
Yesterday I had an unplanned dental appointment. My hygienist is winding down her hours, so I have to make the jump to a different hygienist. This one is much gentler but also not chatty at all. One of the things no one tells you about aging is how your own care providers retire and suddenly you have to figure out new people and new systems.
My spring break started today (well, technically tomorrow, but I don't teach on Fridays anyway.) I do have some grading and cleaning I need to do, but today I felt like I needed rest more, and I'll do the grading and cleaning another day. Now I'm watching Paralympic sled hockey, which is fun. China and Canada currently tied at the end of the second period, in the semifinals. The DJ between periods is terrible -- so far, I've heard the William Tell Overture, MC Hammer, and "Imagine."
“Imagine” is not really sports pump the jam music. My goodness.
And after I posted that, they played "Never Gonna Give You Up" and "Mr. Brightside."
For David:

Ha! Tell her that his own kids call Tom's singing his "Cookie Monster voice."
Hello. Just to report that I'm doing OK as much as one can. Miss being at home with my books. Brought some with me, but it's obviously not the same.

Ah, ha, ha, ha! DH will appreciate that.
My first big smile of the day.
