You have to remember that being a 5-time Olympic medalist means Hilary Knight has been playing hockey at an elite level at least 16 years. It's impossible for her to be a teenage girl less than 16 years old, thus the President's complete lack of interest.
Ditto. Bad gotcha bosses wouldn't be offering leave resources and info, they'd be going "are you sure you can't tough it out?" to guilt you into staying, or telling you you can't miss work because the company will fall into bankruptcy if you're not at your desk at all times.
In other news I had a productive weekend mopping up rainwater that had seeped into my laundry room, sweeping up bits of shredded paper kindling that had escaped the fire globe intact, and assembling a 4' x 6' metal privacy panel (one of two) to extend the part of my back yard fence that neighbors can't see through. I continued the momentum this morning with bill paying and multiple errands that included finally getting the bald tire on my mom's van replaced. It's such a relief to have most of my remaining to-do list be getting through various entertainment media that are on a deadline.

I'm watching the Lilith Fair documentary and I have never felt older today. I mean, working with teens, I always feel old, but there is something about seeing all of these women who were icons of my teens and 20s looking both so young and then interviewed now as beautiful old ladies ... I just feel real old.
The killer part though? The shoes. Those damn 90s slides.
