This is totally a reboot! The planet should go back on-line later today!
Can't believe it took us this long to try turning it off and turning it back on again.
I hate working in my current office, but the baristas at the in-office cafe are the best and today they had complimentary iced green tea with lime and honey and it is AMAZING. It's not too sweet and the honey is perfectly balanced by the tea and lime and I want to keep drinking it forever.
Now I need to rewatch that whole movie.
Hating Illinois Nazis, still timely
Iced green tea with lime and honey sounds amazing!
I am trying Zatarain's box o' red beans and rice in the microwave with freeze-dried andouille. It's ok. At least I didn't burn the rice this time, but it's a little crunchy somehow. Could a used another minute or two cooking, maybe. I might have gone a little overboard on the sausage but that's how I roll, really.
Autocorrect wants andouille to be ratatouille. Weird little hole in the spell check.

I mean, several total eclipses in the recent past, but maybe annular over Antarctica is the key...
I'm pretty sure I can't afford Bruce Springsteen tickets even if I was able to buy them before they sell out, but I will probably check anyway
One concert I also wish I could go to, t.
Tep, I had an ick sunday night, prob not noro cause nobody else got it, but lately my upsets are so *intense*--do not enjoy.
I had a really long day with hours of grading, and seeing all the Chinese New Year stuff was making me crave Chinese food -- specifically, scallion pancakes and sesame balls. I could only find one restaurant on DoorDash that had both of those items.
I picked up dumplings and noodles on the way home. I thought about sesame balls, but did not get them. Now to watch some Josh Johnson on YouTube, doesn’t get much more festive than this.
It was very cold and very rainy and yet I walked the Pilates and suffered and trudged back through the rain.
To soothe my soul I made a yummy soup with beef and onion stock and broiled sausages, mushrooms, turkey meatballs, broccoli, cauliflower and spinach. Then I stirred in a spoonful of chili crisp and it was perfect. Lots of protein, some veg and filling despite the lack of noodles.
Mm mm good!
I will be eating leftover dumplings and noodles at least through tomorrow and maybe into Thursday, so that’s working out well.
Well geez. My friend’s gf who is only 30 has stage 3 breast cancer. A year ago she went to the doctor and they were like “nah that’s a cyst” and lately my friend was like “no that’s bigger now” and she went back and they were like oh I suppose we can biopsy it…oof.
