No studying? Damn! Next thing they'll tell me is I'll have to eat jelly doughnuts or sleep with a supermodel to get things done around here. I ask you, how much can one man give?

Yay, good review!

No one should have to work today, especially me, but here we are.

Yeah, I don't know why the gum, just to have an alternative caffeine delivery available I guess

I just made a really tasty red lentil soup in the instant pot. Super easy, super yum. Keeper. Yesterday I made quinoa with garlic butter mushrooms. Also a keeper.

Guess who's trying to use up the supply of dried stuff she collects and then never cooks with? It's my current mission. The bag of red lentils is weirdly large. Wonder why I thought I needed so many?

I managed to get the cats out of the crawlspace under my house and seal the entrance behind them yesterday, so hopefully that's an end to the neighborhood toms circling my house and serenading all through the day and night.
Game recognizes game!

Mm, quinoa with garlic butter mushrooms sounds really good. Eating down the pantry is a good project, especially when the recipes turn out yum!

I am down to just about nothing in my cupboards just from not wanting to go grocery shopping (that's not true, I just picked up standard quantities of granola bars and soup recently, pantry > 0) and am already wanting to keep my kitchen inventory low because I'll be going out of town in two months...like two months is not plenty of time to run out of food without even trying, but whatever, self, we will keep that in mind

Lentils are delicious! I wish my innards liked them as much as my mouth does. Alas.

I’m sorry about the norovirus, Steph. I’ll eat an extra Paczki to keep the universal balance intact.

The congruence of holidays this year is wild!

Innit just? We've got Lunar New Year, Ramadan, Lent... any others? Maybe its some good omen. Have the Inca weighed in?
